Gesticulate Avatar

Good morning!

I’m currently creating a Synthesia tutorial video featuring two people (a dialogue), and I’d like the avatars not to gesticulate (it’s annoying). They aren’t even fully visible anyway – just within a small circle. Is there a way to turn off the gestures or minimise them?

Hi Babak! We don’t currently have a way to control or limit gesturing directly, and we understand it can be frustrating. This is a known limitation of our Express-2 avatars (and we’re working to improve the default level of gesturing with our next model). For now, the best workaround would be to switch out the Express-2 avatars with Express-1 avatars. The Express-1 avatars have a grey sparkle icon instead of a purple one:

Express-1 avatars have little-to-no body movement, aside from some expressiveness with the shoulders.
