Hi Lou - I simply love this tip and it’s really effective when a screen-recording is not really needed. However, I have a really weird issue where the screenshot highlights gets ‘out of focus’ when I do other edits on the page. E.g. I preview my scene and the highlighted screenshot looks perfect - crisp clear. But then if I add another element (like adding a heading to the page) and I then preview the scene - the highlighted screenshot is suddenly all blurry. Have you ever experienced this?

Hi Eli Hunstad! Whenever adding/editing/previewing, I run into drop in resolution as well, sometimes quite severe:

I think it has to do with decreasing the load time for scenes to be able to be previewed—and maybe when editing, it has to re-cache all the content so it takes a bit to get back to normal.

Could you let me know:

Very cool. I would like to try it out, but I could not figure out how to get the example video into my Synthesia.

This is a great tip. Much cleaner than only using arrows and box shapes to highlight text. How do you round corners? I have seen this a couple of times, but when I ask the Synthesia AI, it tells me I cant round corners. Maybe it's how I asked 😊 I need rounded corners in my life!!!

Glad this tip is helpful Cathy Perez! And AI isn’t all-knowing just yet 😅

To round corners for an image or video, there is a setting in the Inspector Panel on the right when you select the media asset called Radius in the Layer section. You can enter a numerical value directly, or adjust the rounding of the corners by dragging the slider.
